The System Was Built for Followers
Think about what most of us were taught growing up. Sit still. Follow directions. Get a steady job. Don't take risks. Don't make noise.
None of that is evil. But it adds up to a system built to produce followers, not founders. And if you have ever felt out of place in that system, it may not be because something is wrong with you. It may be because you were built to lead.
I have seen this in thousands of people I have worked with in business. Smart, hardworking people who spent years thinking their ambition was a flaw. They were not broken. They were conditioned.
Breaking that conditioning is the first theme of my book, "Are You Delusional?" It starts with noticing the voice in your head that says "who do you think you are?" and asking where that voice came from. Usually, it isn't yours. It was handed to you.
The good news is that conditioning can be unlearned. You can keep the discipline and the work ethic, and drop the fear of standing out.
The world doesn't need more followers. If you're ready to think differently, start with the book. Get "Are You Delusional?" on Amazon: paperback $12.99, Kindle $4.99.
